Larz Kristerz beer
The Swedish band Larz-Kristerz have plans to release their own beer. According to the local newspaper Dalademokraten and Nyheter24 they have thought about this for a long time now. They recently got more inspiration when a friend gave them a bottle of beer with a homemade label on it.
It is probably going to be a bitter Bohemian Pilsener. They are working together with a local brewer to get it all right.
Where and when they are going to release it is not yet decided.
Update: The beer was released in Evertsber on the 4th January. It is being brewed at Mora Bryggeri and called “Stuff-öl”.

Two New Beers From Bålsta Bryggeri
Bålsta Bryggeri has just released two new beers, Eklöws Vintage 2012 and Eklöws Extra. Eklöws Vintage is 7.2% and is meant to be quite a malty beer, whereas Eklöws Extra is a hoppy IPA that weighs in at 6.3%.
The plan is to brew a new vintage of Eklöws Vintage every year. Eklöws Extra has 84 IBU and has been hopped with Chinook and East Kent Goldings. The label claims that the beer has extra malt, extra hops, is extra strong and extra bitter!
Both of these beers are in the tillfälligt (temporary) selection and are currently on sale at the Bifrost pub in Bålsta, but as they’re only going to be available for a limited period, you might have to be quick!
